I just love this card. It is from 1970. It features a Holly Hobbie girl on the front working on some art on an easel. Then there is a little cut out on the easel where you can look to the inside of the cards little slate. Once you open the card you can see a cute little girl on the floor showing her doggie her art work. On the second section is the slate that can be colored by the receiver of the card and quickly erased by lifting the thin sheet. The details are so sweet. They remind me of the 70's for sure. That wall paper that goes from the front of the card to the inside and all the way to the end is a whoot. The color is reminiscent of the 70's.
I also love the wooden floor and the paintings on the wall. The outfits on these little darlings are so "Little House on the Prairie" , one of my favorite childhood programs. It's just some vintage old fashioned goodness by Holly Hobbie who really just always captured this style so perfectly. This is an American Greetings Card.
