This Berry Rare Valentine's Day card is very unusual. It comes with a lovely necklace with a Strawberry Shortcake image on it within an enamel heart. The charm is attached to the card as if Strawberry Shortcake were wearing in on the cover. This card came covered with a plastic to protect it. It is very large card measuring 11 1/2 x 9 inches closed. Within the card it tells the recipient that the necklace is a present from Strawberry Shortcake just for them. I was so excited when I found this card last year. It was surprised to find it in the original plastic. I took pictures with the plastic on and also off so you can see the front better and the necklace. It is not only very hard to find this card at all, but even more hard to find with the necklace on it still with the plastic attached and the mailer box. The box says Especially for You in gold Metallic foil, it is very, very hard to find. It is from 1981. I specifically love this image of Miss. Shortcake. This art is used on several different sized framed art that was sold in the 80's. This is the only card that I know of that features this art work. As you may already know , Strawberry Shortcake was drawn by many many different people throughout the years. Even from early on. You can notice mostly because she always has the same outfit, colors, and pet, but the appearance of the art changes constantly in her faces and the style of the art.
