This beautiful card came all the way from Canada. It is a wonderful little girl drawn by Barbi Sargent with a Strawberry Shortcake Doll in her hands (drawn by someone else I do not know who it was sorry). Many times Barbi Sargent's characters have been added to greeting cards with other characters( this is called ghosting). I also have a Holly Hobbie card with another one of Barbi's little girl characters with Holly Hobbie and Robbie on it. I especially love this one because it features Barbi's little girl and a drawing by someone else of another one of Barb's Original character's Our Strawberry Girl SSC as a doll. So simple and sweet. This card was so graciously sent to me by C. Dubois as a gift. I am so grateful and happy to add this beauty to my collection. I also own another one of this card for a Niece. This one I am sharing has a glossy paper and is die cut. The one below it for an Niece is a more textured surface on the front and also die cut. This is likely from around 1983, just like the USA version below it. I have added a side by side as well at the bottom.These are on my top 20 Favorite cards! Thank you C.
