Don't get these two cards mixed up. Make sure to zoom in. These are different sizes and have different wording. They also have color variations that are pretty significant.

I thought this card was on our web page in the Birthday section, but it was not. I am currently searching all of my albums and making sure each and every item is shown on the website. It may take a while. I hope to get it all up soon. This card is so beautiful. My favorite part is that it is not a common image you see every day. It has the cutest picture of Apple Dumplin' with an ice cream cone in her hand as she is sitting on a blanket with her pet Teatime turtle. Strawberry Shortcake is hilarious as she shares her milk shake with a pink butterfly. Lucky Bug is on the table and Custard is asleep on her lap. There is a lovely path with a trellis arch behind her full of Strawberrys on a bush. If you follow the path far enough, you will find another one before the path fades off into the horizon. Raspberry Tart shyly peeking behind the first trellis at all the fun. Her expression is so sweet. She looks like she really admires her sweet friends. The inside of this card has a cute black and white drawing of a milk shake with 2 straws. This beauty is from 1985.
This set is surprisingly rare. I have only run into it two times. Both times the set was in used condition. I first found 4 of the cards with the yarn. The second time I found the 6 cards still attached to each other with the original packaging. This set is so cute. I love the images on each card. All of these images only appear on this set. Although the packaging is in rough condition, I like it the most out of all the items. It is a berry cute sewing card set.My set is missing the safety needle.
Seems that all of the cards I got this time around are from 1982. I wonder if they came in some sort of set? They all seem to have the die-cut corners and the inner red color. This one has an image I have shared a few times in the past on other birthday cards. I love the cards with "real life" items on them. The writing on the front of this card has very pretty red metallic foil. It is a bit plainer than others, but still berry cute! I have a stationery set that the image from the front of this card is on. I thought for a long time that I had this card, but it turned out that I did not. I thought that I had it because of the stationery set. I came to realize that I did not have it when I checked my archive and then my big ole binder. It was nowhere in sight. I ended up with this card because I bought a lot of cards that had other cards I was missing. It ended up with me by accident. I am so glad I got it though. It is die-cut on the corners and embossed in the best way possible. the embossing is very detailed and creates such a deep 3D effect. The picture on the front of this is adorable, the coloring really make it a big home run for me.
This sweet card features Strawberry Shortcake reading a book under an arched trellis. Custard is sleeping by her side. It is a very relaxing and cozy vision of joy. Reminds me of those book fairs we used to look forward to at school. They would give us a little catalog with a bunch of cool books and other items we could order. Paper items were always a beloved thing to me. I never grew out of it. The words "In my book", on the front of this card are printed in metallic red foil. The inside is very bright red. This card is by Americard American Greetings from 11982. This is the first card I have with this particular image. I love it!
I recently found this card in a lot of cards. It was one I didn't know even existed. I love that it looks like a little recipe book. The words inside are so adorable. Simple berry goodness !
These die-cut greeting cards are so sweet. I love the font that was used for this one at the top for cousins. This greeting card is from 1981. I have several of these die-cut types. This one is not embossed. and is specifically a Laurel card. It has so much movement going on. It is sure to make a cousin happy on their big day!
Seems that I missed several in the Birthday album. This is another amazing card that I somehow forgot to add to the birthday cards page. I do believe that I shared it here on my blog though. It is berry sweet. There is another card that is similar to this one with SSC next to the oven with the pets around her, but this one is in a birthday type theme. This one has the party decorations. I have added the other version so you can compare. Both are beautiful! Valentine's Style I have had this card for quite a few years. I was recently going through my website and cards double checking that each card has been archived in the proper location. I found some in the wrong place. This card I recently came to realize was not included in the Birthday Cards. I found a few others that were not there. I love this card because it has 3 of the characters on it. Each is die-cut and embossed. You get so much from this one. It is from 1981. I have a bunch of new cards and items to add to my page. I will be updating it little by little. I have some new plans for VSE. It has been floating around in my head for years. I can't wait to get things going. One of the ideas is to open up a shop on here selling Vintage Ephemera. It will not be only SSC items. I will have other vintage cards and paper items as well. Stay tuned. We have a new FB page. It is Vintage Shortcake Ephemera 2.0. The original page Vintage Shortcake Ephemera will no longer be updated. It will remain active as long as FB allows, as an archive. All new listings, cards, videos, and sales activity will be shown on the 2.0 Facebook page. Make sure to like Vintage Shortcake Ephemera 2.0.
Beautiful Stationery Set from Argentina with rare image of Strawberry Shortcake on a crate boat with Butter Cookie, Jelly Bear ,and Custard. Mr. Sun is also watching from above.
This one is berry sweet. The image is one you have seen me share on many different occasions. This one is lightly embossed and has the die-cut corners. It is one of the very early ones from 1979. Simple, sweet, and adorable!
2 Beautiful Vintage Strawberry Shortcake Valentine's Day Cards.
The left is by AGC right is by Carlton Cards. Differences on the front are subtle such as font color and print color. The inside of these cards had a completely different concept. I prefer the Carlton version personally. Both are adorable! This card is one of the brighter vibrant ones of all the cards. The characters are so large on the greetings. I recently was given a heads up by a very lovely berry friend. They were told about this card. It was such a joy to add it to my collection. It is the smaller version of the same one I had shared several years ago. The larger one has a shiny surface on the card stock that is reflective and makes the color pop out much brighter. The "Happiness is..." Is written with a sight curve. The words" It's Easter Time" is printed with red metallic foil. The card is die-cut as well. It is a forget me now made in the USA for AGC. The message on the inside of this card is the same as the new smaller version except it is laid out differently. The smaller version of this card has a matte finish. It is die-cut and also embossed very nicely. The words on Hucks hat for the smaller version is written in violet metallic foil. The smaller version is by Carlton Cards Canada. Both are adorable in every way!
This beautiful card is a sweet Mother's Day Greeting. The card is embossed on the front with a metallic red foil font. It also has die-cut edges. So simple and adorable!!
