This cute card is from 1980. It is a birthday card. The saying is super cute. "Everybody thinks you're berry nice......
....SODA I !!!". The writting in done in red reflective foil. It features Strawberry Shortcake and Huckleberry sharing
a ice cream soda float. Pupcake is to the rightof the table begging' for a taste. Inside is a cute sketch of a Strawberry on the left side with the "Soda I" and the "Happy Birthday" to the right side. The back has the Strawberry Shortcake LIFE IS DELICIOUS ® logo at the center ,then the American Greetings ® signature. To the lower right hand is © American Greetings Corp 1980. This card was priced at 40¢.
I also added images of a variant to this card. The second card below is from 1981. Although it looks like it might be older, the top card is in fact the older ( it definitely fooled me, I thought the top one was the older for sure) The bottom card is the same message but for an Aunt. It has a die-cut rounded edge all around. The image is much larger on the cards front that the top one and flipped with Huck on the left and SSC on the right (same thing with Pupcake appearing on the left instead of the right. Inside is only a message no strawberry and the message has "Love and Happy Birthday". The second card was priced at 50¢. Both are pretty cute. I love variants. You have been geekified, lol <3
