I have been away for quite a long time. this is because of 2 reasons. One is that I was trying to find some more items to share because I actually ran into a bit of a ephemera drought in the Shortcake department. I think at the point I am at now
in my card collection that it will only be super duper rare cards I will be running into that I don't already have. Also it was the Summer break when I go on a doll making Hiatus. I created 3 new custom dolls this Summer for doll artist Studio PlumsPlace.com. I made an Orange Blossom Boy, Blueberry Muffin Boy , and a ??? (It is yet to be announced, but finally completed) More info on this mystery doll coming this week (Stay tuned at Plums Place Facebook page). The PlumsPlace.com site will be down until this new doll is revealed.
I did find some awesome items as I was away. I will be sharing them little by little. Tonight I wanted to share a beautiful card I have admired since I started collecting the cards several years ago. I only had some online images of it. I can't even believe it's finally mine. It is an Apricot Easter Greeting with her and Hops-a-Lot on the front. The card is embossed on the front page. This beauty is definitely from my list of dream cards. It is from 1983. Just the cutest art of Apricot and her sweet little bunny!! I have more items to share this week and so on.
