This is a very cute card. I already had one almost exactly like this one except it is by TCFC with a bar code on the back. This one is the original one that came out in 1981. The colors are crisper and have a more focused look to the details on Strawberry Shortcake's Face and on her outfit. Also the berries on her hat are much darker. I will do a side my side soon of the two cards. Also the modern copy of this card has the writing on the cards message on her hat "You're 6 today" in gold metallic embossing. This one has them in red.The die cut is a bit off on this original one as you can see the berry at the top of her hat has been chopped off so have the tips of her shoes. The copy version has them completely there.Both the modern and vintage ones are embossed. Also this one has these beautiful shiny highlights on her cheeks. The modern TCFC one her faced details are all washed out and look very yellow mostly. Definitely the original is superior.
This is just a heads up to always make sure you look at the backs of these cards because they did remake some of these cards from the originals. You don't want to miss out on an awesome vintage card because it looks like one that was remade. Hope you like it . It is AGC 1981 !
